Terms of use

Effective 8 September 2026 · Replace the company and jurisdiction fields before launch.

1. Adults-only directory

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to use this service in your location. We may request reasonable proof of age or identity and may remove any account where age is uncertain.

2. Permitted purpose

Aura provides a moderated directory for lawful, non-sexual social companionship such as events, meals, conversation, culture and city experiences. Aura is not an escort agency, employment agency, payment processor or party to meetings between members.

3. Prohibited activity

You may not offer, request, advertise or facilitate sexual services; exploitation; trafficking; coercion; underage participation; harassment; fraud; illegal substances; weapons; or any unlawful activity. Suggestive coded language intended to bypass this rule is also prohibited.

4. Profiles and content

Profile information must be accurate, current and yours to publish. You grant the operator permission to display submitted content for the service. We may review, reject, edit visibility or remove content to protect members and enforce these terms.

5. Meetings and personal safety

Members make independent decisions and arrangements. Meet publicly, retain control of transport and finances, and use trusted check-ins. Aura does not conduct comprehensive background checks, guarantee identity, availability, conduct or outcomes, or provide emergency assistance.

6. Accounts

Keep credentials confidential and promptly report unauthorised use. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms, threaten safety or expose the service to legal or operational risk.

7. Reports and moderation

You may confidentially report safety or policy concerns. Reports must be made honestly. We may preserve and disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect people or investigate abuse.

8. Liability and availability

The service is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. The operator is not responsible for independent member conduct, off-platform arrangements or indirect losses. Consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.

9. Operator details and governing law

Before launch, insert the legal operator name, registration details, physical address, support contact and governing jurisdiction here. Have local counsel review these terms, especially the classification and advertising rules applicable to adult-oriented directories.
